At Wateringbury CE Primary School, we believe in the value of a happy, Christian community in which all of us recognise the part each plays for the greater good of the school.  Extra-curricular clubs are an integral part of school life and enable adults and children to come together in ways that build trust, respect and a sense of accomplishment.  We encourage our children with praise and acknowledgement of effort; in doing so, we create an environment in which everyone can develop talents and interests.

Applying for Clubs

The brochure below shows the clubs that are currently on offer at our school. School run clubs are booked online via a Microsoft Form - click here to access it. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and places will be confirmed by the office.

If your child is allocated a place but fails to attend for two consecutive sessions, without good reason, they will automatically lose their place. 

All externally run clubs (apart from gymnastics) are £4.25 per session. Unfortunately, if payment isn’t received, then the pupil will not be able to attend the external club.

The cost for most school run clubs, which includes approximately 10 weeks, is £5. However, you can book as many clubs as you want for the same period for £10. Note this does NOT include external clubs or cookery. These will incur an additional payment as detailed in the brochure. Please make payment online via the school gateway or by cash or cheque, payable to Wateringbury Primary School. Payment MUST be made at the beginning of term and preferably by the end of next week. Please note we have a small fund to assist with the payment of clubs. You will need to contact the office to arrange for this contribution.

Gymnastics club is fee paying and is not booked through the school. Please sign up via www.brightstarsgym.co.uk.
