Wateringbury CEP SChool has six classes. We have mixed age classroom structure in Key Stage One (infants) with separate year groups in Key Stage Two (juniors). The two infant classes each have 30 children: Reception & Year 1 in one class and Year1 & Year 2 in the other. The junior classes have up to 32 children.
The curriculum is all the planned activities that we organise in order to promote learning, personal growth and development in preparation for life in modern Britain. It includes not only the formal requirements of the National Curriculum, but also any other activity organised by school, for example, extracurricular activities and any other activities designed to enrich the experience of the children. There is also a ‘hidden’ element to the curriculum which includes what the children learn from their school environment, the way they are treated and how they are expected to behave.
